About Elle Palmer Art

.

Hello, I’m Elle — accidental artist, unrepentant daydreamer, and proud survivor of the corporate world’s revolving ‘no thanks’ door.

I didn’t set out to become an illustrator. In fact, I spent years trying to squeeze myself into the grey, sensible corners of corporate life, only to be repeatedly reminded — sometimes gently, often spectacularly — that I was absolutely not built for that world. Eventually, after enough rejections to wallpaper a small hallway, I tumbled headfirst into art… and discovered I’d finally landed somewhere soft. Somewhere true.

Now, I spend my days painting the quiet magic tucked into everyday life: children lost in their own little worlds, animals who feel like old friends, and those fleeting, heart-tugging moments we barely notice at the time but desperately miss once they’ve passed. My work is whimsical, nostalgic, and lightly seasoned with mischief — a fair reflection of me, according to my tween daughter, who doubles as my muse and unofficial quality control.

Home is where my studio sits, tea cools too quickly, and Cooper — the resident studio floof — supervises with the self-confidence of someone who has never once questioned their purpose.

If you’re looking for warmth, whimsy, and a reminder that the everyday is extraordinary, then welcome. You’ve just stepped into the right little corner of the world.
